Wandering Wisteria

So sad to cut down the beautiful wisteria out front, but the insurance company basically said it had to go. It is completely out of hand and growing into screened porches, roofs, and anywhere else it can. The weight of it could probably do some damage if left unchecked since the metal supports are already broken in places. We did leave it until it was finished blooming this year so we could enjoy it for a little while. Now we have to look in to planting new and maybe grafting it into the old, but that may be a little advanced for my brown thumbs!

  1. Wow, those are some thick vines, I’ve never seen them that big! Nice that you got in one last bloom.
